About the Activity

Join us for an unforgettable winter adventure aboard our Targa 37 «Pearl». The entire boat is reserved exclusively for you and your group, offering a quieter and more personal whale safari experience than tours whit larger groups.

We set course for the areas where the whales are currently found, often in the waters around Skjervøy. From the comfort of the heated cabin or out on deck, you ca enjoy the spectacular Arctic coastline while we search for orcas, humpback whales and other marine wildlife.

The rout is adapted to current whale activity as well as the weather and sea conditions on the day of your trip.

The experience & Views

The journey through the winter fjords of Northern Norway is an important part of the experience. Snow- covered mountains, dramatic fjords and the unique Arctic winter light create a spectacular setting and excellent opportunities for photography.

With only your own group abourd, you have plenty of space and time to enjoy the experience together. Hearing the powerful blow of a humpback whale break the silence or watching orcas aooear against the backdrop of snow- covered mountains can become a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Whales are wild animals, and we observe them respectfully and on their terms. Whale sightings can therfore never be guaranteed.

Food and drinks

During the trip, we serve food and drinks on board, followed by cake for dessert. Relax together in the heated cabin, enjoy your meal and take in the Arctic scenery as the jorney continues.

Who can book?

Everyone is welcome to book this experience. You do not need to stay at Larseng Kystferie to join us. The private whale safari is avalable both to our accommodation guests and to other visitores staying in the Tromsø region.
